1Kin. 16:1   And the word of the Lord occurred to Jehu son of Hanani about Baasha saying,

1Kin. 16:2   “For the reason that I exalted you from the dust and appointed you prince over My people, Israel, yet you have walked in the way of Jeroboam and have made My people, Israel, to sin, provoking Me with their sins,

1Kin. 16:3   behold, I am about to bring an end of Baasha and an end of his house when I will strike your house as the house of Jeroboam son of Nebat.”

1Kin. 16:4   “Dogs shall eat who of Baasha's dies in the city, and the fowl of the air shall eat who of his dies in the field.”

1Kin. 16:5   And the rest of the exploits of Baasha and what he accomplished and his might, are they not written on the scroll of the chronicles of the days of the kings of Israel?

1Kin. 16:6   And Baasha slept with his fathers and was buried in Tirzah, and Elah, his son, became king in his place.

1Kin. 16:7   So, by the hand of Jehu son of Hanani, the prophet, the word of the Lord occurred again to Baasha and to his house, both because of all the evil that he did in the eyes of the Lord by his provocation with the work of his hands, being like the house of Jeroboam, and because of that he had smitten it.

1Kin. 16:8   In the year of twenty-six years for Asa, king of Judah, Elah son of Baasha became king over Israel in Tirzah for two years.

1Kin. 16:9   And his servant Zimri, captain of half the chariots, conspired against him.  And he was in Tirzah, heavily drunk, in the house of Arza, who was over the household in Tirzah,

1Kin. 16:10   and Zimri went in and smote him and killed him, in the year twenty-seven for Asa, king of Judah, and became king in his place.

1Kin. 16:11   And it was at the start of his reign when he seated himself on his throne, he smote the entire house of Baasha.  He did not leave any of his who piss on the wall, or his relatives or his friends.

1Kin. 16:12   So Zimri destroyed the entire house of Baasha, like the word of the Lord that was spoken to Baasha by the hand of Jehu, the prophet,

1Kin. 16:13   for all the sins of Baasha and the sins of Elah, his son, that they committed and by which they made Israel to sin, provoking the Lord, God of Israel, with their vanities.

1Kin. 16:14   And the rest of the exploits of Elah and all that he accomplished, are they not written on the scroll of the chronicles of the days of the kings of Israel?

1Kin. 16:15   In the year of twenty-seven years for Asa, king of Judah, Zimri reigned seven days in Tirzah. Then the people were encamped against Gibbethon, which was the Philistines'.

1Kin. 16:16   And the encamped people heard, saying, “Zimri has conspired, and he also has smitten the king.”  And all Israel made Omri, captain of the host, king over Israel on that day in the camp.

1Kin. 16:17   And Omri went up, and all Israel with him, from Gibbethon and they laid siege on Tirzah.

1Kin. 16:18   And it was upon Zimri seeing that the city was taken, that he went in to a citadel of the house of the king and burned the house of the king about him with fire, and he died,

1Kin. 16:19   because of his sins that he committed, doing evil in the eyes of the Lord, walking in the way of Jeroboam, and with his sin that he did by making Israel to sin.

The word in parentheses is missing a yad, which makes the phrase of his sins singular, and it should be plural.  The correction is in the brackets.

1Kin. 16:20   And the rest of the deeds of Zimri and his treason that he perpetrated, are they not written on the scroll of the chronicles of the days of the kings of Israel?

1Kin. 16:21   Then the people of Israel was separated in two parts.  A part of the people came after Tibni son of Ginath to make him king, and the other part was after Omri.

1Kin. 16:22   But the people who were after Omri withstood the people who were after Tibni son of Ginath, and Tibni was put to death and Omri was made king.

1Kin. 16:23   In the year of thirty-one years for Asa, king of Judah, the reign of Omri over Israel of twelve years began.  He reigned six years in Tirzah.

1Kin. 16:24   And he bought the hill Samaria from Shemer with two talents of silver, and he rebuilt the hill, and he called the name of the city that he built by the name of Shemer, owner of the hill Samaria.

1Kin. 16:25   And Omri did greater evil in the eyes of the Lord and dealt more wickedly than anyone who was before him.

1Kin. 16:26   And he walked in every way of Jeroboam son of Nebat and in his sins by which he made Israel to sin, provoking the Lord, God of Israel, with their vanities.

A similar error here as in v. 16:19 above.  The word in parentheses is missing a yad, making the phrase and in his sins singular rather than plural, which it should be.  The correction is in the brackets.

1Kin. 16:27   And the rest of the acts of Omri that he did and his might that he showed, are they not written on the scroll of the chronicles of the days of the kings of Israel?

1Kin. 16:28   And Omri slept with his fathers and was buried in Samaria, and Ahab, his son, became king in his place.

1Kin. 16:29   And Ahab son of Omri became king over Israel in the year of thirty-eight years for Asa, king of Judah, and Ahab son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty-two years.

1Kin. 16:30   And Ahab son of Omri did greater evil in the eyes of the Lord than anyone who was before him.

1Kin. 16:31   And it was such a light thing, his walk in the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, that he took a wife, Jezebel daughter of Ethbaal, king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal and bowed down to him.

1Kin. 16:32   And he set up an altar to Baal in the house of Baal that he had built in Samaria.

1Kin. 16:33   And Ahab made the Asherah, and Ahab proceeded to do more to provoke the Lord, God of Israel, than all the kings of Israel who were before him.

1Kin. 16:34   In his days Hiel, the Beth-elite, rebuilt Jericho; with Abiram, his firstborn, he laid its foundation, and with Segub, his youngest, he erected its gates, as the message of the Lord that He spoke by the hand of Joshua son of Nun.

See Josh. 6:26 for the reference in this verse.  Also the Hebrew word in parentheses, the name of Segub, has a yad in place of a vav.  The correction is in the brackets.
