Isai. 15:1   The burden of Moab:

                    For by night Ar is ravaged,

                    Moab comes to ruin;

                    For by night Kir is ravaged,

                    Moab comes to ruin.

Ar and Kir were the two principal cities of Moab.  Other cities and towns of Moab are mentioned below as well.

Isai. 15:2   It has gone up to Baith and Dibon,

                   The high places, to cry.

                   Over Nebo and over Medeba,

                   Moab shall wail.

                   Baldness shall be on all its heads,

                   Every beard shaven.

Isai. 15:3   In its streets they gird in sackcloth.

                   On its housetops and in its plazas

                   Every one of it will wail,

                   Falling down in weeping.

Isai. 15:4   And Heshbon cries out, and Elealeh.

                   Their voice is heard all the way to Jahaz.

                   Because of this the armed men of Moab shall cry aloud.

                    Its soul shall be grievous for itself.

Isai. 15:5   My heart might cry out for Moab,

                    A fugitive all the way to Zoar,

                    A heifer of three years;

                    For, the ascent of Luhith,

                     It will go up on it with crying;

                    For through Horonaim

                    They will raise up a cry of affliction;

Isai. 15:6   For the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate;

                   For the grass is withered, the herb failed;

                   There is no green thing.

Isai. 15:7   Therefore the abundance it got and their stores,

                   They shall carry them over the brook of willows.

Isai. 15:8   For the cry is compassing the territory of Moab,

                   As far as Eglaim its wails,

                   And Beer-elim its wails.

Isai. 15:9   “For the waters of Dimon are full of blood,

                   But I will bring more upon Dimon,

                    A lion, to the escaped of Moab,

                    And to the remnant of the land.“
